Samuel Smitton attested into the Royal Canadian Regiment for service during the Great War and served on the Western Front. He was killed in action on 16 September 1916 and is commemorated on the Vimy Memorial, France.

Clarke Wallace McCann attested into the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force for service during the Great War and served on the Western Front with the 24th Battalion. He was killed in action on 8 August 1918 and is commemorated on the Vimy Memorial, France.
