A scarce Officer’s helmet plate, standard pattern gilt crowned star back plate with laurel wreath and Garter, silvered Chinese Dragon, to the centre the Prince of Wales’s Plumes and ‘XCVIII’, two of three loops to the rear, slight service wear to the silver mounts, no gilt remaining, good condition £300-£400
