Frank Charles Guest was born on 25 September 1847. He served in the ranks of the 59th Regiment (2nd Nottinghamshire) for 15 years 56 days, seeing service in the Afgahn War of 1878-80. Guest was promoted Quartermaster (Hon. Lieutenant) in the East Lancashire Regiment on 19 November 1881 and transferred to the Shropshire Light Infantry on 7 January 1891. He was promoted Hon. Captain in the S.L.I. on 19 November 1891, retired in 1895 and died at Erdington on 4 December 1896. Sold with copied research.
