Walter Chandler was born in Rotherhide and living in Southwark Park Road, enlisted at Bermondsey. Serving in the 22nd Battalion London Regiment, he was killed in action on 30 December 1915, aged 21 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Loos Memorial.

Private Charles Willam Dyer, 21st Reserve Battalion (Alberta Regiment), died of disease on 30 May 1918. He was buried in Weston-super-Mare Cemetery.
