86th (Royal County Down) Regiment, a very fine and rare officer’s shoulder belt plate, c1840-55, rectangular copper-gilt back plate with gilt mount, this being the crown over the ‘Harp and Maid’, engine turned numerals ‘86’ part let into the strings of the harp, complete with fasteners and original leather liner plus a spare liner (Parkyn 506), minute bruising to the lower right hand corner otherwise excellent condition (2) £800-1000
