Walter Pearson was born in Buxton, Derbyshire, and served with the 41st Field Ambulance, Royal Army Medical Corps during the Great War in Mesopotamia. He died on 24 May 1918, and is buried in Baghdad (North Gate) War Cemetery, Iraq.

Frank Thomas Owen Sharp served with the Mercantile Marine during the Great War.
