Commonwealth of Australia, the original hand carved three dimensional wax mould used to create the watermark for the £1 of 1933 and some later issues, featuring the Prince of Wales, later King Edward VIII, wax cracked, but glass intact, otherwise as produced, a superb record and wonderful carving

This item consists of the wax mould sandwiched between two sheets of glass, and taped at the edges. It must be kept in a temperature controlled environment and will be shipped entirely at the risk of the buyer. We recommend collection in person.
