An antique sapphire and gem set jewel, the central cushion-shaped sapphire within a rose-cut diamond and sapphire cluster surround spaced by pearl highlights, beneath a vari-cut ruby and emerald coronet surmount, to a pierced scrollwork mount set throughout with rose-cut diamonds and suspending three pearl drops, mounted in silver and gold, with pendant and brooch fittings, (pearls untested), length approximately 6.5cm. £2,400-£3,000

According to a verbal report from GCS the sapphire is of Sri Lankan origin, with no indications of heating. Verbal report number 5784-1641.
