An antique gem-set portrait miniature, the glazed miniature depicting a bust length portrait of a lady in late 18th century dress, mounted in gold and centred within a vari gem-set surround, closed back settings, later adapted with brooch fitting, length 30mm.

According to a PMI test on an XRF Analyzer, the mount is testing as 18ct gold and the later brooch fitting is testing as 13ct gold.
