A sapphire and diamond ‘Doppio Cuore’ necklace, ring and ear clips by Bulgari, the necklace designed as a series of interlocking links, pavé-set with chevrons of brilliant-cut diamonds and leading to a frontispiece set with five sapphire cabochons, the dress ring similarly-set and with reeded detailing to the shoulders, the ear clips additionally set with an emerald cabochon, mounted in 18ct gold, signed ‘BVLGARI’, Italian assay marks, necklace with London import marks for 1992, earrings and ring with London import marks for 1988, maker’s pouch, total diamond weight approximately 6.40 carats, necklace length 42.5cm, ring size M, ear clip length 21mm. The necklace accompanied by a report from GCS stating that the five sapphires, total weight approximately 28.88 carats, are of Sri Lankan origin, with no indications of heating. Report number 5784-2178, dated 8 May 2024.
