A rock crystal and sapphire parasol handle, French, circa 1900, of tapered cylindrical form, the slightly domed gold terminal set with a chequerboard of circular-cut sapphires with rose-cut diamond highlights between, the base with a collar of kite-shaped sapphires and brass screw fitting, engraved with initial ‘M’, the terminal with French assay mark, length 6.8cm.
