A gold posy ring, circa 1660-1680, the wide rectangular-shaped hoop inscribed to the interior in italics ‘Godlye .love .will .not .remove’, maker’s mark ‘R’ in an oval cartouche, diameter 21mm, width 5mm, ring size R. £500-£700

According to a PMI test on the XRF analyzer the gold is testing as purity 91.02%.
