A 19th century gold sautoir, the ropetwist chain terminating in two tassel drops with chased boule caps, the slider with with scalloped outline and engraved foliate decoration, length 45cm. £600-£800

According to a PMI test on an XRF Analyzer the chain is testing as 12ct gold, the boules as 11ct, the tassels as 12ct, and the slider probably gold plated.
