Roman Republican Coinage, Lucius Farsuleius Mensor, Denarius, Rome, 75 BC, menso[–] before, s c behind, draped and diademed bust of Libertas right, pileus behind, rev. l farsvl[–] in exergue, above warrior holding spear and reining in biga right, with right hand he assists togate figure into biga, c[–] control mark below, 3.70g/6h (Ghey 208, this coin; Craw. 392/1b; cf. BMCRR 3293-305; RSC Farsuleia 2). Circular banker’s mark on obverse, banker’s mark ‘S’ and ‘V’ on reverse, fine £30-£40
