Roman Imperial Coinage, Augustus (27 BC-AD 14), Denarius, Lugdunum, 2 BC-AD 4, caesar avgvstvs divi f pat[–]riae around laureate head of Augustus right, rev. c l caesares in exergue, avgvsti f cos desig princ ivvent around Gaius and Lucius Caesar standing front, each togate and resting hand on shields, behind each is a spear upright, in field between lituus left and simpulum right, 3.64g/11h (Ghey 373.2, this coin; BMC 540-43; RIC 210; RSC 43c). Discrete banker’s mark to obverse right of Augustus, otherwise fine £60-£80
