British Iron Age, CATUVELLAUNI, Cunobelin, AD 8-41, Stater, Wild B type [Class 5], ca mv divided by ear of barley with five pairs of grains, stem base has a single short curl attached to the right, rev. cvno below, large ringed pellet below horse galloping right with dashes for mane, branch and star above, 5.37g/3h (Ghey add no.1 2021T655, this coin; Sills O52/R98; ABC 2783). Struck slightly off centre, otherwise very fine, yellowish gold £600-£800
