British Iron Age, CATUVELLAUNI, Cunobelin, AD 8-41, Stater, Classic A, Scroll Stem type [Class 7a], [–]a m[–] divided by ear of barley with five pairs of grains, base of stem with ornate scroll decoration, rev. cvno below, horse prancing right with fine pellet mane, branch above, pellet in field below tail, 5.45g/4h (Ghey 12, this coin; Sills O68/R119; ABC 2798). Well centred, good very fine, hoard patina £1,500-£1,800
