Elizabeth I (1558-1603), Seventh issue, Crown, mm. 1 [1601], bust 9A, sceptre to i of regina, three fingers of hand visible, 29.89g/3h (BCW 1-1:1-a3; FRC dies D-6 [Sale, lot 12]; N 2012; S 2582). Very fine and toned, but with some surface crazing, light mark on the queen’s brow and small scratches above the shield on reverse £1,500-£2,000
