Greek Coinages, SELEUKID KINGDOM, Seleukos I Nikator (as King, 305-281): Tetradrachm struck at Susa, c. 305/4-295

Obverse: head of Seleukos right, wearing panther-skin helmet adorned with bull’s ear and horns, panther skin tied around neck like chlamys

Reverse: βασιλεωσ σελευκο: Nike standing right, crowning trophy of Macedonian arms; ap to lower right, monogram [πα] in inner field

Metal: silver; Attic weight standard; 17.22g/11h
