Medieval 12th century gilt and enamelled brass mount 3.8 cm x 2.5 cm, 16.71g. Central umbonate openwork coiled snake with head raised, rivetted to a rectangular plate with blue enamel panels; together with gilt bell; gilt strap end decorated with tendrils; knife terminal; buckle plate with trefoil terminal.
