Thomas Ternant Rea served during the Sudan Campaign as well as the Boer War where he was awarded a Distinguished Conduct Medal for the Defence of Lichtenberg. He was killed in action in France and Flanders on 4 March 1916 and is buried at Railway Dugouts Burial Ground, Belgium. Sold with copied service papers.
