Crimea 1854-56, 1 clasp, Sebastopol (Capt., 13th P.A. Light Infany.), privately impressed; Indian Mutiny 1857-59, no clasp (Major & Paymr., 1sr Bn. 13th Lt. Infy.), ‘Major &’ engraved; Turkish Crimea 1855, British issue, unnamed, pierced with ring suspension, minor contact marks, very fine and better (3) £500-600

Major D. C. McNaughton landed with the 13th Light Infantry in the Crimea on 30 June 1855. He served at the siege and fall of Sebastopol and the battle of Tchernaya. He served in the Indian Mutiny from 2 October 1857 and was present at the battle of Toolsepore.
