Charles Francis Price was born and lived in Plymouth and enlisted at Merthyr. Serving in the 9th Battalion Welsh Regiment, he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 18 July 1915 and was killed in action on 15 January 1916. The son of John Charles Price and husband of Hannah Price; he was buried in the Le Touret Military Cemetery, Richebourg-l’Avoue, Pas de Calais, France.
