Charles Kindleysides died of wounds in France and Flanders on 4 October 1918, whilst serving with the Army Cyclist Corps, attached 22nd (Tyneside Scottish) Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers and is buried at Houchin British Cemetery, France.
