Albert Parke was born in and enlisted at Norwich, Norfolk. Serving with the 7th Battalion Queen’s Own (Royal West Kent), he won the Military Medal. He was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 18 April 1918, aged 25 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Pozieres Memorial, Somme, France. He was the son of John and Eliza Parke and husband of Maud Edwards (formerly Parke) of 16 Tillett Road, North Walsham Road, Norwich.
