2 officers and 42 other ranks of the 20th Hussars served in the Light Camel Regiment on the Nile.

George England was born in London and enlisted into the 20th Hussars on 8 July 1878, aged 20 years 6 months. According to his papers he served on the ‘Nile Expedition 1884-5, Egyptian Frontier Field Force 1885-6, Battle of Ginnis’. He was discharged at Canterbury on 7 July 1890. Sold with copy discharge papers.
