Approximately 65 officers 280 airmen were awarded the “Northern Kurdistan” clasp.
Born in July 1911, Dent was first commissioned in the Royal Air Force in November 1942, and served in the Engineer Branch up until his retirement as a Flight Lieutenant in March 1958.
