Maharao Raja sawai Mangal Singh bahadur 1877 in centre, one rupee alwar state divided by sheaves of corn, edge grained, 11.70g/12h (Prid. 995 [not in Sale]; Stevens website AL 252; KM. 45; cf. SJA 14, 653). Tiny spot above p of empress, otherwise brilliant mint state, deeply toned, most attractive and very rare £1,500-£2,000
