British Iron Age, CATUVELLAUNI, early uninscribed issues, silver Half-Unit, Snakes and Lyres type, cruciform pattern with snakes across horizontal limbs, various devices in angles, rev. stylised horse bounding left, ‘lyre’ above and ‘corn ear’ below, 0.57g (ABC 2505; BMC 3785-6; VA –; S 54A). Good very fine, well centred and extremely rare £600-£800
