Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 1 clasp, Orange Free State (The Hon: & Rev: B. Feilding, D.D.,) officially engraved naming, a few scratches, otherwise good very fine £300-£400

Basil George Edward Vincent Feilding was born on 13 July 1873, third son of the 8th Earl of Denbigh. He graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (Phil.D.), and a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.) from Rome, Italy. He fought in the Boer War as a Chaplain in the Army Chaplain’s Department. The Very Rev. Monsignor Hon. Basil George Edward Vincent Feilding died on 31 July 1906, drowned in the Rhine.
