George III (1760-1820), Tower Mint, London, Halfpenny, 1771, laureate bust right, rev. Britannia seated left, ball below spear blade, curved raised lines on scroll at base of shield, stop after legend, 9.83g/6h (BMC 898; S 3774). One spot in legend either side, otherwise virtually as struck with full original colour, attractive [certified and graded NGC MS 64 RB] £240-£300
