A superb example in blackened silver plate with polished highlights, the crowned eight pointed star pattern back plate with laurel and Garter overlays, in the centre on a ground of black velvet the Castle and Key for Gibraltar with relevant scrolls, at the base a double title scroll ‘The Suffolk Regiment’ and ‘1st Volunteer Battalion’, complete with three original screw post fasteners, excellent condition £300-£400
