Worcestershire Artillery Volunteers, a very scarce other ranks grenade plume holder in die-stamped white metal, the ball displaying a cannon over a circular strap ‘Worcestershire’ with central tower from the city arms, laurel sprays in surround, complete with holder and slider, the rim of the ball with some re-shaping and repairs, the union of the holder to the grenade reinforced with araldite around the base joint £150-200
This lot was sold as part of a special collection, The Collection of Artillery Insignia formed by the late Norman Litchfield.
