Miscellaneous Military Insignia. Comprising a carded display featuring an officer's KC silvered bronze cap badge to the KRRC, two variable silver mounted red cord boss badges to the same, 1.5 s/titles KRR. One pair printed Formation signs to the 5th Corps and an embroidered pair to the 56th Armoured Division, a brass cap badge to the South Irish Horse (this example was sent by Lady Aldington to H.G. Parkyn who returned it with a note "Parkyn has it"!), two white metal shoulder cord buttons one to the Rifle Volunteers and the other to a Lancashire or Yorkshire Rifle Volunteer Unit. An officer's small silver plated coatee button to the Rifle Brigade c. 1820 - 55 (back mark Pulford & Son) with an attached label stating that it belonged to Sir William Stewart. Together with a quantity of KRRC Officers' rank insignia, four scarce buttons requiring shanks, Royal Artillery 1779 - 1801 (excavated), North Hampshire Militia Officer's gilt c. 1810 - 20, 94th Clare Militia other ranks pewter c. 1833 - 55 and 18th The Royal Irish Regiment officer's large gilt tunic 1856 - 81. A pair of silver plated Mess Dress buttons to a Militia Battalion of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers converted to earrings, an '8th Army' medal ribbon bar, two other ranks brass right hand side rose pattern ornaments for the blue cloth helmet and a white metal KC cane top to the Sherwood Foresters,very good overall condition (quantity) £150-200
