Private Charles Joiner, 1st Battalion Royal Fusiliers, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 7 September 1914. Served in the 17th Infantry Brigade, 6th Division, in Pulteney’s III Infantry Corps. Joiner later transferred to the 1st H.S. Garrison Battalion and then the East Kent Regiment. With copied m.i.c. - clasp confirmed.
