Lance-Corporal Donald A. McKenzie, 1st Battalion Lovat’s Scouts, entered the Balkan theatre of war on 7 September 1915. When based in Macedonia in December 1916, the 1/1st and 1/2nd Battalions of Lovat’s Scouts were merged and together with a company of the 3rd Scottish Horse, were formed into the 10th (Lovat’s Scouts) Battalion Cameron Highlanders. Donald McKenzie was discharged on 1 March 1919. With copied m.i.c.
