Cl. 2, A.S.C.); 1939-45 Star; France and Germany Star; Defence and War Medals; Coronation 1937, these unnamed; Army L.S. & G.C., G.V.R., 1st issue (S-1186 W.O. Cl. William Patrick Mullane was born on 6 October 1890. During the Great War he was awarded the M.S.M. for his service in Salonika. In the immediate aftermath of the war, he was ‘mentioned’ for his service during the evacuation of the Caucasus. Was first commissioned on 3 October 1935 and attained the rank of Major (Quartermaster) on 31 October 1944. He retired from the R.A.S.C. on 21 September 1948.
