Arthur E. Gray attested for the Imperial Yeomanry at Newbridge on 6 January 1900, aged 24 years. Serving as a Corporal with the 45th (Irish Hunt) Company 13th Battalion Imperial Yeomanry in South Africa, 13 March 1900-2 January 1901, he was taken prisoner at Lindley, 30 May 1900 but later released. He was discharged at his own request on 21 January 1901. With copied service notes.
