John Stanley Davis, who was born in July 1909, served in the Royal Army Service Corps from February 1941 until March 1946, his units including 24th Armoured Brigade Company, R.A.S.C. and 57 Company, R.A.S.C. Infantry Brigade - accompanying documentation also confirms that he was ‘recommended for a unit award, 12.9.42’; sold with a quantity of original documentation, including the recipient’s Soldier’s Service and Pay Book and Soldier’s Release Book.
