One of only two Stewards shown on the roll of the Irish Hospital.

Joseph Daly was a native of Queen’s County and joined the R.I.C. at Dublin in May 1902., serving in Wicklow, Clare and Armagh. He served with the Irish Guards from 3 May 1915 and rejoined the R.I.C. after the war, serving until its disbandment in May 1922.
