William Greenstreet was born in Buckland, Hampshire, lived in Landport, Hampshire and enlisted at Gosport. As a Sergeant in the 2nd Battalion Hampshire Regiment he was killed in action at Gallipoli on 8 May 1915. His name is commemorated on the Helles Memorial.
