Roman Imperial Coinage, Magnus Maximus (383-388), Siliqua, Trier, 383-8, d n mag max-imvs p f avg, pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. virtvs ro-manorvm, Roma enthroned, holding globe and spear, drapery extends onto Roma’s right arm, tr ps in exergue, 1.96g/12h (MC 368, this coin; Hoxne 519 [Ab]; RIC IX p.29, 84(b)1; RSC 20+a). Striking split at 10 o’clock, some surface crazing, very fine £60-£80
