Roman Imperial Coinage, Theodosius I (379-395), Siliqua, Trier, 383-8, d n teodo-sivs p f avg, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. concor-dia avggg, Constantinopolis enthroned, holding sceptre and cornucopia, feet resting on ship prow, tr ps in exergue, 1.67g/12h (MC 356, this coin; Hoxne 412 [var. 3]; RIC IX p.25, 55(a); RSC 4a). Slightly clipped, striking split at 12 o’clock, otherwise very fine; the obverse engraver’s error interesting and very rare £60-£80
