Found as part of the Colkirk Hoard, near Fakenham (Norwich) 2020-2021 (PAS NMS-AC7F17: Treasure 2020T83)

Guest, in his survey of the Hoxne treasure, notes that ‘siliquae of Arcadius were struck with two different obverse legends, one on which the D in Arcadius was engraved correctly, and another where the D looks like a letter P’ (2005, p.70). The Hoxne hoard contained similar quantities of both legend variants (with 360 coins employing the D, and 279 employing the P), suggesting that the latter were indeed a legitimate issue of the Trier mint.
