Besnard for the Société des Amis de la Médaille française, La France welcoming and crowning Genius of the Old and New Worlds, rev. city view of Paris from the Pont Alexandre III to the Eiffel Tower, edge stamped 12 argent, cornucopia and foundry mark of the SAMF, 69 x 55mm, 111.99g (Maier 6; Coll. Edition of 112 in silver. For the obverse the medallist copied a sketch by Paul-Albert Besnard that had been submitted, and was shortlisted, for the prize diploma for the 1900 Expo.
