Virgin Islands – Tortola, Issue c. 1802-05, Quarter-Dollar, a lightweight cut quarter segment of a Spanish-Colonial 8 Reales, obv. countermarked tirtila within a shaped indent, 5.31g/81.3gr, perhaps cut down further after countermarking (Prid. 9; Pridmore, SNC September 1974, Type II; KM 17). Coin worn smooth, pierced and plugged after the countermark applied, countermark fine £100-£150
