St Lucia, B.S., uncertain attribution, brass tallies (4), all stamped B.S., rev. stamped 86 (or 98), round; 96, octagonal; 97, shield-shaped; 1899, heart-shaped (Lyall 529-32, these pieces) [4]. Generally fine, pierced as issued £60-£80

These four pieces were reputed to be from St Lucia. There was a Bernard Stretch, a planter, at Soufriere in St Lucia in 1899, but there was no-one with these initials on the voter list for Castries in 1900.
