James III (1460-1488), Light issue, c.1482, Groat, Edinburgh, mm. cross fleury, tressure of seven arcs, small trefoils on cusps, crown with five spikes, legend ends scotorm, rev. three pellets in first and fourth quarters, mullet of five points in second and third, reads edenbeovrge, 2.20g/10h (SCBI 35, 762 and B 23, fig. 605, same dies; SCBI 72, 845, same obv. die; S 5280A). Light scratches on face, nearly very fine £300-£360
