Sheriff T. Mackenzie Collection, Sotheby Auction, 21-22 February 1921, lot 226 (part); Dr J. Davidson Collection, Part II, DNW Auction 60, 9-10 December 2003, lot 393; bt March 2005

This is one of a group of late coins from Perth distinctive for their poor workmanship and numerous die-sinking errors. It would seem that production was sparse and erratic making any issuing pattern difficult to discern. No light coinage issues are known from Perth; this would appear to be the mint’s last production for a generation.
