James III (1460-1488), Light issue, 1482, Groat, Edinburgh, mm. cross fleury, tressure of seven arcs, small trefoils on cusps, crown with five spikes, legend ends scotorm, rev. mullet of five points in first and third, three pellets in second and fourth quarters, reads edenbeovrge, 2.33g/12h (Murray dies 2/e, SCBI 35, 766, same dies; SCBI 72, 845ff; B 24, fig. 606, same obv. die; S 5280A). About very fine £300-£400
